Imagine you've been wanting to go somewhere for months but you can't get anyone to tag along. What do you do then? Well you have two options, find someone to do your every bidding or go by yourself. Earlier this year my friend gassed me up about going to get sushi but last minute she cancelled and none of my other friends were willing to eat raw fish with me. I got the sushi but I had to make a deal with one  of my friends to go to two places so everyone could get what they want. Prior to that my original date had suggested that I should go by myself since no one wanted to go, at first I rolled my eyes  internally at the idea  because she was cancelling on me, I didn't want to hear it. So summer rolled around and as usual the complaining started. Lol. So I was there ranting about not going anywhere and no one wanted to do the little casual stuff I wanted to do so another friend suggested going out by myself , this time I actually considered it because I as tireeeed of all this doing nothing.
So last week , your girl finally did it. I went to run some errands and there was a cafe on the first building on the compound, so I went for lunch, I've been there before with friends, a hidden gem basically.

They specialize in crepes but they serve other stuff, so I went in , grabbed a menu and scanned it leisurely, then told my waiter what I wanted and then sat there enjoying my own company, unfortunately I had nothing much to think about so I just did random stuff , turns out I'm hilarious, I had to hide my smile so I didn't look like a psycho laughing with no one . I snapped a lot too. It's really hard taking cute aesthetic pictures by yourself though, so my food got all the camera love, but it deserved it. They serve this frozen lemonade with bits of mint. HEAVEN.
So while sitting by myself, I got to enjoy my own company, doing everything leisurely, and not caring about a thing, I stayed there for about 2 hours, just chilling and it wasn't awkward at all. So it's a thing for me now, i'll be roaming like a lone ranger more often when everyone backs out on me or when I just want something. If I continue waiting on them I'll get nothing done really, so I'm taking the reins of my outings by myself. Ofcourse my friends can tag along if they want. But the experience was simple , nothing over the top and I'm pretty content.
Unfortunately after that lovely 2 hours came the most frightening and annoying fifteen minutes of my life. I lost my card, didn't know how I was gonna pay for my food until I found the next one which failed on my first attempt, luckily it was approved on the second try and I hightailed it out of there to search for my card which proved futile. So always have spare money before you go off by yourself guys because there'll be no one to back you up when you lose your card and can't pay for the people dem food.

If you guys want to know where I went, it's Tea Tree Creperie.
