Becoming a Powerful Woman in 5

    Becoming a Powerful Woman.  

    I'm currently binge watching Gossip Girl, season 4 and  Blair is on her way to becoming a powerful woman, her first stop: Trying to intern for one.  Anyway as usual a small detail has got me thinking like the philosophic thinker I am 😭.  

   Now, this all depends on what your individual idea of a woman is, women are powerful beings in their own regard , whether they wield the power in the household or over unsuspecting men, but a Powerful Woman in all her glory and respect is a female whose prowess is undeniable, whose aura emits authority, she's a head turner with or without society's definition of beauty and she achieves , despite the difficulties she comes in contact with, regardless of the time.
   Now, becoming a powerful woman does not mean to be the CEO of a firm,though I believe that's a perk. It's about self development and claiming all that life presents and making it your own.  Doing everything to the best of your ability and then some, and some of us, like myself , are pretty nonchalant about the course of life and it's taken day by day so whatever happens , happens right?    While I've yet to find a powerful woman to emulate and learn her trade secrets I've come up with 5 points of my own that make a powerful woman for  me.

1.  Staying on the bull.
   Have you ever been on a bull ride (i haven't) but I've seen them, the rider holds on for as long as he/she can while the bull twists and turns and they're eventually dumped. I always thought  why not move with the bull instead of being tense and stiffening up.  A lot of women or even men focus on holding on as tight as possible to whatever they're working on and forget that they can try to be flexible but the issue is that in the heat of the moment we forget all the techniques and go with instincts and sometimes fear can manipulate these instincts, so just try to be bold and make a mental note to  ride the bull and not just hold on for dear life.

2.  Planning.
  I have plans galore, and I also plan around what I have currently, so if I have a craving for pizza , I might just plan an entire outing to go out and get pizza (yes I'm extra) However the con of planning is that 'Man a plan and God a wipe'   and so we plan and those plans fall through which is why plans should have different phases, villains always have Plan B's and C's for a reason. (and trust me in real life every villain is not plankton so their plans don't always fall through)

3. In a Selfish world the Selfish succeed.
   Now, that's my fav quote from my barbie movies collection and it res ipsa loquitur (I'm gonna sit cape law and i like applying my knowledge. Sue me 😁, oh puns)

4.  Ignore Detterences.
    People are negative beings and quite frankly they annoy me.  If someone doesn't approve of your Idea then fine , what are you supposed to do about it, cry? No, you do it anyway and make the best out of it.  While support is essential because everyone gets demotivated every now and then , don't allow the negativity to seep in, unless negativity works for you then yeah soak up all the negativity and turn it into a glass of cold lem-in your face-nade.  (Yes. I make jokes, lame ones)

5.  Be you in every way possible.
    I'm all about being you and while not everyone has found themselves still, be you in the part of you that you're sure about.  If you do something then it should say 'Me' without even your name on it.  Just like your handwriting, anyone who knows me knows my handwriting.  Don't beat yourself up about what you are , change it if you want to or embrace it and love it.  Everyone has their own demons remember that..
